About This Course
<div>Claude Code changes how Java developers build software. Instead of typing every line, you direct an AI agent that reads your conventions, writes the code, runs the tests, and ships it — while you stay in control and review every change.</div><div><br></div><div>In this hands-on course you build a complete, production-style e-commerce REST API with Spring Boot , Java and MySQL — almost entirely by prompting Claude Code. You start by engineering context with CLAUDE .md and rules files so Claude generates code in your conventions the first time. Then you generate the full data and business layers from a schema, review and refine them, and extend the app with new features using plan mode.</div><div><br></div><div>From there you go deep into everything that makes Claude Code powerful in a real workflow: managing the context window, building custom slash commands and skills as reusable quality gates, automating guardrails with hooks at zero token cost, delegating work to subagents (tests, codebase analysis, diagrams), connecting external tools over MCP, and installing plugins. You finish by putting the project under Git, containerizing it with Docker, and wiring up a GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline — all driven through Claude.</div><div><br></div><div>You also get a bonus Next.js storefront built on your API, and a separate healthcare project (a clinic appointment system) as a guided assignment so you can apply every technique on a codebase you haven't seen demonstrated step by step.</div><div><br></div><div>This is a practical, no-fluff course. You won't just learn what Claude Code can do — you'll build real software with it, the way modern teams are starting to work today.
